Dr. Medina graduated from the School of Dentistry at the National School of Professional Studies in Mexico in 1980. She then received her Master’s Degree in Oral Pathology from the Postgraduate Division at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 1985.

She served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Pathology at the National School of Professional Studies in Mexico City from 1982 to 1985. In the US, she received her DDS degree in California from the State Board examination at Loma Linda University in 1991. Dr. Medina limits her practice to children (infants to preteens) and focuses on educating patients about preventive care.

Dr. Pacheco and Dr. Medina were married in July of 1991 and they began their first dental practice in San Gabriel, California in 1993. They have been serving the Santa Barbara community since 1998. Dr. Pacheco and Dr. Medina have two children: Alan, born in 1992, and Sarah, born in 1996.
